As a game organizer, you may be interested in using social media to help drive engagement and promote your game. To make this easier, we suggest using the GooseChase features detailed below:
- Hashtag Specification
As an organizer, from the Game Manager, you can specify a hashtag for your game. This hashtag will be automatically appended to all posts that participants make through our mobile apps and that you make as an organizer (see #2 & #3). To specify a hashtag for your game, visit the Activity Feed page for your game from within the Game Manager.
- In App Twitter & Facebook Sharing
From within the GooseChase mobile apps, while submitting a submission, a participant can choose to share the submission on Facebook and/or Twitter. Should a participant choose to share, a link to the submission is shared, the mission name, and the hashtag specified in #1. Note: This post/tweet originates from the participants social media account.
- Game Manager Submission Sharing
As an organizer, you can choose to individually share submissions via the share buttons in the Game Manager. To access the share buttons, simply click the particular submission you'd like to share (to launch the full screen modal view) and select the Facebook and/or Twitter icons (found in the bottom right corner of the modal). Similar to #2, you will need to authenticate with Facebook and/or Twitter before the post is made. However, unlike #2, you have full control over the contents of the post/tweet prior to it posting.
