As a game organizer, you may be interested in using social media to help drive engagement and promote your game. To make this easier, we suggest using the GooseChase features detailed below:
- Hashtag Specification
As an organizer, from the Game Manager, you can specify a hashtag for your game. This hashtag will be automatically appended to all posts that participants make through our mobile apps and that you make as an organizer (see #2 & #3). To specify a hashtag for your game, visit the Activity Feed page for your game from within the Game Manager.
- In App Social Media Sharing
From within the GooseChase mobile apps, a participant can choose to share their photo and video submissions on social media. Should a participant choose to share, a link to the submission is shared, the mission name, and the hashtag specified in #1. Note: The post originates from the participant's social media account. Instructions for your participants to share on social media can be found here.
- Copy Link to Submission from Game Manager
When browsing submissions in the Game Manager from the Activity Feed or Submissions tab, you can click the three dots next to the submitting team's name and select Copy Link to Submission. This will copy a link URL to your clipboard that links directly to that submission, and can be added to social media posts and shared as well.
