With the launch of our new Notifications feature, it's now possible to: send messages to game participants, notify a team when one of their submissions is deleted, and indicate why bonus points were awarded.
All notifications can be viewed from our Android or iOS app on the "Notifications" tab. Provided it's been enabled, participants will also receive a push notification to their device.
For Game Organizers, here's how it works:
Team Messaging & Game Announcements
From the Leaderboard page of the Game Manager, use the "Send a Message" widget to send a message to a specific team or push out an announcement to all teams.
Note: Team Messaging & Game Announcements is not available with Recreational games.
Bonus Points Added/Removed
When applying bonus points, indicate a reason why the points are being added/removed. This reason will be shown to all participants on the Activity Feed and the team who made the submission will receive a notification.
It's now possible to explain why a submission was deleted! The team who made the submission will receive a notification with the explanation/reason you provide.
