This article is intended for users licensed through our: School/District Wide License, Higher Ed Institution Wide License, Higher Ed Single Team & Single Department Licenses, and all Enterprise/Partner Organization Wide Licenses.
Depending on the type of Organization Wide license, upon activation, one of the following will be provided to GooseChase in order to facilitate automatic account upgrades:
- A staff email list, containing the email addresses of all employees/users within the organization.
- An email domain that only employees/users of the organization have email addresses with.
If a staff email list is provided, for a staff member to take advantage of the organization's license, they need to sign up for a free GooseChase account (from goosechase.com or from the mobile apps) using the email address that matches one on the list provided.
If an email domain is provided, for a staff member to take advantage of the organization's license, they need to sign up for a free GooseChase account (from goosechase.com or from the mobile apps) using an email address that uses the provided domain name.
Assuming a staff member signs up using the appropriate email address, their GooseChase account (and any past, or future, games created within that account), will be assigned to your organization's license.
Note: GooseChase accounts are automatically assigned to licenses daily, at (approximately) 1:15am EST. This does mean there is a delay between the time the user registers for a GooseChase account, and the time their account is assigned to the organization's license. Although this delay rarely creates a problem, it is possible to manually trigger accounts to be assigned to your organization's license by simply visiting this page.
